Bench Staff Requirements

All paperwork and certification must be completed by November 1st, as per our rules and regulations.


Coach Course Requirements -  All divisions have different requirements. Please click HERE to see what is required for your division. Coach Courses are reimbursable from the association upon course completion. 

Cards- The FMHA will pay for your team to have 5 carded bench staff. This includes your Manager and Trainer(s) cards. Additional cards are $25 at the expense of your team.

Criminal Record Checks - Must be completed by all members of your bench staff. As of 2016 they are now good for 3 years.  Take this letter to the Local detachment which can be found HERE and it will be at no cost to you. 

Confidentiality Agreements - Must be signed by all bench staff and returned to your Manager. They can be printed HERE from our website. 

Equipment Checklist - Must be filled out prior to the season and sent to the Equipment Director.

Respect In Sport/Coach- All bench staff are required to take the respect in sport for Coach course. This is reimbursable but also due by Nov 1st. This course can be found HERE

First Aid- Your Trainer is required to have their current First Aid. This is also reimbursable from the FMHA. Let your Manager know if other bench staff have their current first aid.
Trainer/Safety-HCSP Certification- All Teams must have one bench staff that is certified. Click HERE for more information.
